    It has differences like 1/2 is pretty big and the right rectangle is cut in half so its probably equal

    The only difference between the 2 is that the volume for cuboid with full unit cubes = l x w x h and  half units cube if 1/2 x l x w x h

    the whole unit cubes would give a volume of 72 units^3. we can find this by usong v=lwh, where the length, width, and height are used as l, w, and h. we get v=12(3)(2). this is 72 units^3. the half unit cubes give a volume of 9 units^3. this is found the same way, but the lengths of each side is cut in half. this makes the equation v= 6(1.5)(1). this gives 9 units^3. 72/9=8. this shows that the volume would be 8x less with half unit cubes
