    If the sum of any addition problem is less than a term (in this case 2 is less than 10), then the variable would have to be a negative number. so you would find x by doing 2-10 and you would get -8. so it’s -8+10=2. a way to express that is if you have $-8 in your bank account, you get paid $10 from your babysitting job and now you have $2 in your bank account.

    If you are trying to find g it would be 87.

    Step-by-step explanation: It is 87 because 87 + 3 divided by 6 = 15.

    i will write one 🙂

    Step-by-step explanation:

    belle is going scuba diving. after she went down a certain amount of feet, she rose 10 feet to get back to her boat and was then 2 feet above sea level. what was her initial amount of feet in the water relative to sea level?

    it‘s a bit weirdly worded but the situation would be correct 🙂

    There were 2 times as many caps as nails
    make an equation

    there were c popsicles each child got 2 popsicles, make an equation for how many popsicles to order if there were n children

    bob has c shirts
    this is 2 times as many children he has. make an equation for how many shirts he has if he has n children

    10t = b - 4

    12b+8t = $348

    This is a system of equations. I’ll be solving through substitution.

    In the first equation. solving for b (the easier variable to isolate) gives you:

    b = 10t + 4

    Substitute this into the second equation:

    12(10t+4) +8t = 348
    120t+48+8t = 348
    128t = 300

    t = 2.34375 —> round it to the nearest cent to get 2.34 dollars

    b = 10t+4
    b = 10(2.34)+4
    b = 27.4 dollars
