Pouring rain (written by Alaska) Once upon a time, in a messed up world, was a lil girl with a broken past, Everyday she walked around, Always on the verge of tears, Nobody really noticed, nobody ever cared, (chorus) But she stood proud, She stayed strong, Cause in her heart she believed there was still hope to come, She is just a girl with a dream of a million stars, Come to carry on her gift, As she danced through that pourin' rain Every night before she closed her eyes, She looked up at the northern star, Prayed a wish to make things change, Even though she cried it ain't true, (chorus)
