    (f/g)(x) means to divide the rule of f by the rule of g
    8 ÷ [tex]\frac{1}{x}[/tex] = 8x ← recall dividing by a fraction is really multiplying by it's reciprocal
    The domain of the resulting function is the intersection of the domains of the original function. The domain of f(x) is all real number and the domain of g(x) is all real numbers except 0 (b/c you can't divide by 0).

    (f/g)(x) = 8x and the domain is {x ∈ all real numbers except x ≠ 0} or in interval notation (-∞, 0)∪(0,∞)
