  1. B. 14

    Explanation:

    The atomic mass minus the number of protons will give you the number of nuetrons. 🙂

  2. B. 14

    Explanation:

    For an element:

    - Atomic number: is the number of protons in the nucleus (p)

    - Mass number: it is the number of protons (p) + neutrons (n) in the nucleus

    For Al (aluminium), we have:

    p = 13

    p + n = 27

    Substituting the first equation into the second one, we find the number of neutrons:

    n = 27 - p = 27 - 13 = 14

  3. The mass number is the total number of protons and neutrons in a nucleus. The atomic number is the number of protons in the nucleus. →27−13=14 neutrons!

    I hope that helps. I don't know if it right or wrong, but good luck 🙂

  4. 14

    Explanation:

    The atomic # is how many protons it has, the mass is the total number of protons (P) and neutrons (N).

    P+N=M     13+N=27

    27-13=14    Neutrons= 14
