The second one is A, and that is reflection.

The first one is L, and that is rotation.

    answer:

    question 4: 30 inches

    question 5: 15 inches.

    step-by-step explanation:

q4: use pythagorean theorem. [tex]a^{2}[/tex]+[tex]b^{2}[/tex]=[tex]c^{2}[/tex]. [tex](15\sqrt{2})^{2} +(15\sqrt{2})^{2} = c^{2}[/tex]. 900=[tex]c^{2}[/tex]. take the square root of both sides and you get that c=30.

q5: multiply 5[tex]\sqrt{3}[/tex] by 2 to get hypotenuse. hypotenuse = 10[tex]\sqrt{3}[/tex]then use pythagorean theorem to get the length of the longer leg. (5[tex]\sqrt{3}[/tex])^2+[tex]b^{2}[/tex]=(10[tex]\sqrt{3}[/tex])^2. (10[tex]\sqrt{3}[/tex])^2 -(5[tex]\sqrt{3}[/tex])^2=225. [tex]b^{2}[/tex]=225. take square root of both sides and you get the length of longer leg to be 15 inches.
