Explain the roles and difficulties that Women, African-Americans and Mexican-Americans faced
on the home front and in war (if any during WWII)?

  1. The difficulties that still occurred were hate crimes, they still had trouble getting in jobs most of their kids did not attend schools, they were segregated, had to do protest which they got shot at for, they couldn't get a real job, and they still had to do labor. They still weren't "free"

  2. Women were helping within the industry, as they worked on the assembly lines creating materials and supplies for the soldiers overseas. African-Americans served in the military, however were segregated against until Truman passed a bill to prevent the discrimination in the defense industries after WWII. Mexican-Americans faces very similar difficulties to African-Americans. Women received unequal pay than men, however successfully were a big part in strengthening the war effort.
