when i go up through the mowing field, the headless aftermath, smooth-laid like thatch with the heavy dew, half closes the garden path.

The rhyme scheme is as follows:

When I go up through the mowing field, (a)

    The headless aftermath, (b)

Smooth-laid like thatch with the heavy dew, (c)

Half closes the garden path. (b)

Reason being is because aftermath and path rhymes whereas field and dew doesn't rhyme with anything.
