    Roosevelt had many strengths. He was an ambitious man and he got things done. For example, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for ending the Japanese-Russian war. He also was the first President to suggest Universal healthcare. He was not without weaknesses, however. For example, he did nothing about the Holocaust. He was also extremely near-sighted, which was a liability for him.
