  1. The answer is that the slope equals -2.


    To find the slope, all you have to do is count how many units the line goes up and right between two points. Between points (-2,4) and (0,0), the lines does up -4 units (the negative means it went down) and right 2. Then, divide the up/down by the left/right, -4/2, in this case, to find the slope. -4/2 is -2. Therefore, the slope is -2.
