  1. The mechanical advantage of a machine is always less than its velocity ratio.It is because mechanical advantage decreases due to the friction and weight of moving parts of the machine, but the velocity ratio remains constant.

  3. because velocity ratio dont depend upon friction whereas in case of mechanical advantage the some of the input work is affected by the friction so the value of velocity ratio is always greator than mechanical advantage.
