    Most acids are sour.

    Most acids corrode metals.

    Explanation:

    Acids:-

Acids are the species which furnish hydrogen ions in the solution or the species which has electron deficient central atom.

Most acids are sour in taste.

Most acids react with the metals and corrode them by making their salt solutions and hydrogen gas.

Acids may contain hydrogen or not. Hydrogen contains acids are [tex]HCl[/tex], [tex]H_2SO_4[/tex], [tex]HNO_3[/tex], [tex]H_3PO_4[/tex], etc.

Hydrogen non-containing acids are Lewis acids like [tex]BF_3[/tex], [tex]AlCl_3[/tex], etc.

They have pH less than 7.

    Hence, correct statements are:-

    Most acids are sour.

    Most acids corrode metals.

distance on the y-axis and time on the x-axis.

    explanation:

the instantaneous velocity = change in position/time taken

the slope of the graph should give instantaneous velocity.

slope of a graph = change in value of y -axis / change in values of x -axis

      comparing both the equations

change in value of y -axis = change in position

change in values of x -axis = time taken

so position values should be on the y axis and time values should be on the x axis.

distance on the y-axis and time on the x-axis.
